This 25 minute podcast gives listeners an insight into some of peculiarities that now define what may become one of the most interesting business case studies of our generation.

Adam Neumann, WeWork co-founder and CEO was not always the founder of a unicorn company, he had previously tried and failed his hand at other businesses. We go on to hear about the early days of WeWork and the astonishing culture instilled by Neumann.

The introduction of successful tech investor and CEO of Softbank, Masayoshi Son, helps to the fuel the culture of the business and the meteoric rise of WeWork. We learn that Masayoshi Son, who turned a $20m investment in Alibaba into $58bn (at the time of IPO) appears to have blind faith in ‘visionaries’. In what has now become the financial story of the year, the ‘visionary’ founder of WeWork meets Wall Street and the result is still being played out.
