Last night NAOS hosted its second 'Insights' evening in Sydney. The theme for the event was 'Being Long Term in a Short Term World'. Our guest speaker, Clare Payne, explored the application of the theme in relation to the work she undertakes in the field of Ethics and specifically the application to Ethics in the Financial Services industry. Sebastian Evans, CIO and Managing Director of NAOS, then delivered a presentation on the theme paying particular attention to the evidence for the rise in short termism and the impact of short termism on companies, investors and financial markets.
