Closer to home, attention has turned to reporting season, where results are already beginning to flow through. Expectations for earnings growth are high among resources stocks following a bumper year for commodity prices in 2016, but formerly-popular areas such as small-cap growth and ‘bond-proxies’ are beginning to show signs of stress.
