Freezing order by Bill Browder

A sequel to his original book Red Notice (make sure you read that first), Freezing Order recounts events over the last decade from where Red Noticed left off. Some of these events are so unbelievable. It's hard to fathom how they could’ve occurred and kept occurring…but they did.

Bill Browder was the founder & CEO of Hermitage Capital Management, which was a major foreign investor in Russian stocks from 1996 to 2007. What has happened since that time that has seen Bill Browder have a genuine positive global impact whilst at the same time had become public enemy number 1 of The Russian Government. Powered by the terrible events outlined in Red Notice, Browder has managed to achieve something quite incredible through the introduction of The Magnitsky Act.

His determined efforts in the face of genuine danger have resulted in Browder being arguably one of the world’s most influential political activists over the past 15 years. To this day, what he has helped to create is used by many nations as a major retaliatory tactic against certain Russians in response to the war in Ukraine. The financial world is a better place due to his efforts.

As cliché as it sounds, both of these Bill Browder books – Red Notice and Freezing Order are well & truly on the ’must-read list’.
