Peter Lynch was the famed investment manager who ran Fidelity’s Magellan Fund from 1977 through to 1990. During that time it was the one of, if not the best performing fund globally. Peter’s words in this book keep everything simple. He describes how and why institutional investors often think differently from retail investors, and also focuses on the notion of understanding what you’re investing in. By thinking logically, rationally and sticking to what you know, can be a very practical and tangible way to discover, maintain and stay inside your circle of competence.
